Composite Images
Composite imagery allows a photographer to create a story that otherwise does not exist in the real world. Using black and white furthers the ability of a viewer to break from reality and focus on the image as a whole without the distraction of color. I am drawn to the surreal world of Jerry Uelsmann who also only uses black and white photos in his masterful creations.
This is a growing area for me. More will be coming soon.
Dreams of Koi
I wrote this to convey my concept for this image:
“The dreams of Koi are to float among the clouds and flutter with the dragonfly, detached from their watery confines.”
