Driftwood Beach, Georgia

Formed as a result of years and years of constant erosion, Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island, Georgia looks as if you have stepped onto another planet. Tree Spirits can be found lurking in the masses of root balls of uprooted trees. Gnarly pine and oak trees, with their contorted limbs going in and coming out of the sand, resemble other-worldly creatures that have died and left their skeletal remains in a surreal tree graveyard.
